The New Bern Civic Theatre and AAHC present SANKOFA: An African American Musical Review with song dance and spoken word. This original production is scheduled for three performances: Friday June 11 and Saturday June 12 at 7:30 pm and Sunday June 13 at 2 pm. This production is rated PG-13 for language content

SANKOFA kicks-off New Bern's celebration of JUNETEENTH, June 19. This national holiday celebrates the Emancipation of previously enslaved people.
